Rasik Memorial Badminton

Sushil Nayak and Lydia Barreto emerged Under 15 Boys and Girls singles champions while Parteek Mahajan claimed Men's singles glory, at the Late Rasik Painguinkar Memorial All Goa Major Ranking Badminton Tournament organised by Rasik Memorial Trust in collaboration with Goa Badminton Association (GBA) and SAG, at Multipurpose Hall, Fatorda. For Navneet Nasnodkar, it was his 5th Men's doubles title of the season as he along with Sunny Sawant who won his 4th reigned supreme in Men's doubles while Floyd Araujo and Pranjal Chimulkar won their first mixed doubles title as a pairing this season. The Under 13 boys and girls titles were won by Shourya Joshi and Arshia Gautam while Vaman Fallary and Laxmikant Kenaudikar scored a hard fought victory to win the Veterans 50+ Doubles event. Ainesh Srivastava won in Under 10 Boys singles. Promising Player prizes were awarded to Yash Desai, Aashutosh Dhavalikar, Sachi Dhavalikar and Rhea Kanji. Ms. Babita Angle Prabhudesai (Chairperson, Margao Municipal council),  Mr. Narahar Thakur (President, GBA), Mr. Sandeep Heble (Hon. Secretary, GBA), Ms. Kamalini Painguinkar (Chairperson, Social Welfare Board), Ms. Tanuja Painguinkar, Mr. Raju Painguinkar and Anil Painguinkar (Trustees, Rasik Memorial Trust) graced the prize distribution occasion.
