Junior Nationals at Udupi

In Junior U17 Girls Doubles, Anjana Kumari and Manjushri Raut reached the quarter finals in the 41st All India Junior National Badminton Championship 2016 at Udupi Karnataka. Anjana also reached third round in under 19 girls single category. There she lost to All India No 7 rank player. GBA member Leonel Fernandes awarded cash prizes to all the players for each round won. It was a magnanimous gesture by the Team Manager Leonel who gave cash incentives to the winning players. Vinayak kamat accompanied the Team as Coach.
