Goa’s Anura wins bronze in Senior Women’s singles

Congratulations to Goa’s Anura Prabhu Desai, brand ambassador of Geno Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and who represents AAI, for winning Bronze at the All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2017 at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

Participating in Senior women’s singles category, Anura beat 5th seeded Rasika Raje 22-20; 10-21; 21-18 to move into the semis. The semis was another close contest against Maharashtra’s Mugdha Agrey, which Anura lost 14-21, 21-13, 21-8.

Anura has consistently been winning medals in the National Badminton circuit and Goa Badminton Association lauds her on her memorable feat.
